Personal communication is the cornerstone of our public consultation process. We are committed to open and ongoing dialogue, based on mutual respect, with stakeholders and the public to ensure that all opportunities and constraints are addressed and incorporated into project design.
We are committed to using effective and appropriate project design and operating practices to mitigate impacts of our projects on people and the environment. Some of the key environmental issues that will be addressed through project design include protection of the Athabasca River and adjoining watercourses, protection of surrounding aquatic resources and associated wildlife, management of surface and groundwater resources, and mitigation of local impacts such as noise and dust.
